It's that time of the year again.

WVU football saw their season come to a disappointing conclusion at with a loss to Texas Tech. Now, it's about time for the annual ritual of monitoring who is going to leave the program and seek greener pastures through the transfer portal. West Virginia will be losing a large senior class on the field, but are also adding a massive 49-player recruiting class to make up for some of the losses.
And with all that in mind, there will still be room for some transfer additions to the program, and several players are likely to enter the portal as they seemingly do every offseason now.

Remember, entering the portal doesn't neccessarily signal a player is gone, but rather just exploring their options – though most do end up departing the program for good. Also, keep in mind that the portal doesn't officially open until January 2, so if you're reading this before that date, these players have only announced their intention to enter the portal – no one is officially in until January. Once the window opens, it was stay open for two weeks until January 16.

With all that laid out, here's a look at who's headed in the portal for WVU, and which players in the portal are choosing West Virginia as their new home.
