West Virginia offensive tackle Wyatt Milum -- a Kenova, W.Va native who was named a Consensus All-American this past season -- has officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Milum announced the move on social media, posting a lengthy thank you that included God, his family, his teammates, and his coaches amongst those who have helped him to this point.
Milum became the fourth-ever WVU offensive lineman to be named a Consensus All-American for a 2024 campaign that saw him allow zero quarterback hurries and just seven quarterback pressures. Milum was also a crucial starter on an offensive line that averaged over 210 rushing yards per game over a two-year period from 2023-2024 -- WVU's rushing attack was ranked in the Top 10 amongst power conference program in each of those seasons.
At the end of the 2024 regular season, Milum was also ranked in the Top 3 in college football amongst players at the offensive tackle position by major analytics firm Pro Football Focus (PFF). He played 46 games and started 42 of those during his career with the Mountaineers and was named a 2024 Iron Mountaineer.
Milum looks to join fellow Spring Valley High School and WVU teammate Doug Nester in the NFL, who is currently signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in his rookie season. Milum's former WVU teammate Zach Frazier is also currently with the Steelers as a rookie after being selected in the second-round of the 2024 NFL Draft -- he earned the Joe Greene Award this season for the top rookie inside the organization.
Milum is the fourth WVU starting offensive lineman from the 2024 season to declare for the NFL Draft, joining Nick Malone, Brandon Yates, and Ja'Quay Hubbard. The other starting lineman for WVU this past season, Tomas Rimac, has transferred to Virginia Tech for his final season of eligibility, following his offensive line coach Matt Moore. Milum is widely projected as a first-second round pick in the Draft.
