Wyatt Milum becomes West Virginia football's 14th-ever Consensus All-American

West Virginia football senior offensive tackle and Kenova, W.Va. native Wyatt Milum has officially become the 14th-ever Consensus All-American in program history.

He achieved the honor on Wednesday when he was selected the a First-Team All American at offensive tackle by Sporting News -- to earn the distinction, you must on three-of-the-five All-America teams recognized by the NCAA; the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association, Walter Camp Football Foundation, Football Writers Association of America and The Sporting News.

Milum earned first-team honors on four of the five teams that make up Consensus All-America honors (Walter Camp, AFCA, FWAA, Sporting News) and was a second-team selection by the Associated Press.



Milum is the fourth-ever WVU offensive lineman to earn the award and the first since Dan Mozes in 2006. It is the second consecutive year a WVU player has earned the distinction, as it was done by cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. in 2023.

Milum allowed zero quarterback hurries and just seven pressures during the 2024 season and anchored an offensive line that averaged 192 rushing yards per game, a Top 10 rushing attacks amongst Power 4 programs. Pro Football Focus (PFF), the top sports analytics company used by FBS programs, lists Milum as its No. 3 offensive tackle in the nation with an overall grade of 90.1, a run-blocking grade of 84.2, and a pass-blocking grade of 89.8.
