Yet another West Virginia offensive lineman is officially entering his name into consideration for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Brandon Yates, who started at center for WVU in 2024 but has played multiple positions across the offensive line, joined fellow Mountaineer lineman Ja'Quay Hubbard in declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft -- it is expected they'll soon be joined by fellow starter and projected top offensive tackle Wyatt Milum and potentially senior lineman Nick Malone as well.
Yates was a sixth-year senior who spent his entire career with the Mountaineers. After redshirting as a true freshman, he registered an outstanding 61 appearances over his final five seasons as a starter for WVU. He helped anchor an offensive line that paved the way for a rushing attack that averaged 210 yards per game over the two-year period from 2023-2024.
