A third West Virginia offensive lineman has officially entered his name into the mix for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Morgantown native and senior offensive tackle Nick Malone announced on Thursday that he is declaring for the 2025 Draft, joining Ja’Quay Hubbard and Brandon Yates as pieces from this past season’s starting unit to do so. They will likely soon be joined by another in-state native in starting offensive tackle and consensus All-American Wyatt Milum.

Malone was a six-year member of the WVU roster -- he was initially a walk-on and was a member of Neal Brown’s inaugural recruiting class at the program. He made 53 appearances for the Mountaineers, starting 18 of those games, and was a significant piece of a rushing attack that was ranked Top 10 amongst power conference programs in both 2023 and 2024 and averaged 210 rushing yards per game over that two-year stint.

Malone was a high-school letterman in both football and basketball at Morgantown High School, and was named an all-state selection in football his senior year.
