West Virginia football has landed their second offensive line transfer from SEC programs in the spring portal window, and their fourth offensive line transfer from the conference since Rich Rodriguez took over the program in December.

Texas offensive lineman Malik Agbo announced on social media Sunday that he would be headed to Morgantown to continue his collegiate career. He joins fellow former SEC offensive linemen Josh Aisosa (Oklahoma), who committed to the Mountaineers earlier this week, and Kimo Maka'neole (LSU) and Ty'Kieast Crawford (Arkansas), who transferred into the WVU football program during the winter portal window.

Agbo was originally a four-star recruit in the Class of 2022, who 247Sports compared to current Carolina Panthers starting offensive lineman Robert Hunt out of high school. Agbo played two games before redshirting in 2022.

He did not go on to earn a starting role with Texas, but saw action in all 30 games in 2023 and 2024 as the Longhorns managed back-to-back College Football Playoff semifinal appearances. Agbo was often used as a blocking tight end in jumbo packages, and even hauled in a six-yard reception in the 2024 Sugar Bowl. He should come to Morgantown with two years of eligibility remaining,

The addition of Agbo is the third offensive line addition for WVU football in the spring portal window, joining Aisosa and North Alabama transfer Mickel Clay -- the Mountaineers are also in the mix for grad transfer Will O'Steen, who played under Rodriguez at Jacksonville State.
