Just one day after WVU football completed a clean sweep of commitments from the top two-ranked JUCO wide receivers in the country in the Class of 2026, the Mountaineers have continued their heavy focus at that level by swiping up the third-best JUCO running back in the 2026 class as wel..

Martavious Boswell, who is a three-star prospect currently ranked the third-best tailback in the Class of 2026 at the JUCO level and the 41st overall player in the nation at the JUCO ranks, has officially committed to the Mountaineers. The news broke on Monday afternoon, just one day after Boswell announced WVU had made his top four final schools after visiting Morgantown this past weekend. The Mountaineers were competing against Kansas State, Mississippi State, and Tulsa for Boswell's services.

Boswell did not initially have a visit to the Mountaineers on his radar, but cancelled a visit to Texas State to set up the trip to Morgantown this past weekend. He also had visits set for Kansas State today and for Mississippi State this weekend for the Egg Bowl, but his visit with West Virginia was enough to seal the decision for the JUCO star.

"It was great overall," Boswell told 247Sports. "It felt like home and talked to a lot of great coaches and spent time with players."

Boswell wrapped up this season at Copiah-Lincoln C.C. with 1,109 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns in 10 games, and was named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) South Offensive Player of the Year for his efforts. You can check some of his highlights below.
