After landing the No. 1 ranked 2026 JUCO wide receiver prospect earlier this month in Keon Hutchins, the West Virginia Mountaineers have gone ahead and the locked up the second-best JUCO receiver in the class as well.
According to Keenan Cummings of On3/Rivals, Pearl River Community College (AL) product Kedrick Triplett has officially committed to the Mountaineers. A three-star prospect, Triplett commits to the Mountaineers over offers from several other FBS programs, including fellow Power 4 programs such as Arkansas and Utah.

According to the 247Sports JUCO composite rankings, Triplett is the second-best JUCO wide receiver in the Class of 2026 and the tenth-best overall JUCO player in the country. He'll create a dynamic duo of former standout JUCO wide receivers for the Mountaineers alongside Hutchins, who is ranked the top JUCO wideout and eighth-best prospect nationally in the Class of 2026. Earlier this weekend, Hutchins posted a photo on his personal account on X, formerly known as Twitter, side-by-side with Triplett on the field at Milan Puskar Stadium during their visits to the school, and Triplett retweeted the image.
Triplett finished his 2025 season with 25 catches for 399 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season, including two 100-yard receiving games. The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder marks the 30th overall commitment in the Class of 2026 for WVU. Triplett will have the chance to spend the offseason as a part of the program, as he is set to graduate at Pearl River in December before enrolling at West Virginia next semester.
