The West Virginia Mountaineers have four players committed in their incoming 2026 recruiting class, and the two that are the most highly-touted are four-star center Aliou Dioum and five-star guard Miles Sadler – two players that are currently teammates at CIA Bella Vista (AZ).
Sadler and Dioum helped lead their team into Chipotle Nationals this week, which is a season-ending tournament featuring several of the top-ranked prep programs in the country. This year, 10 SC Next Top 25 boys' basketball teams competed in a 10-team bracket, including the Top 9 ranked teams in the nation.
Miles Sadler, Aliou Dioum help CIA Bella Vista capture Chipotle Nationals championship
CIA Bella Vista entered as the No. 3 seed in the tournament, but with the help of the two West Virginia commitments, they managed to advance to the championship game on Saturday against Montverde Academy (FL).
Sadler went 10-of-20 from the field and scored 23 points in the championship game victory, and also dished out nine assists in the contest. The effort followed a 21-point, 10-assist, seven rebound performance in the semifinals and a 26-point game in the quarterfinals.
Dioum, who plays a much more muted role on the team, played 14 minutes overs the three games and registered two point and one rebound in the tournament.
It's not the first time CIA Bella Vista or Sadler have turned heads this year. The team recently captured the EYBL Scholastic Conference Championship, and Sadler earned EYBL Player of the Year honors for his performance this season.
