The Mountaineers were named the 16th and final No. 1 seed in the tournament, and are set to host an NCAA Regional for the first time since 2019. They will welcome No. 2 seed Wake Forest, No. 3 seed Kentucky, and No. 4 seed Binghamton to Morgantown for the opening weekend of tournament action.
The Mountaineers will kick off action against Binghamton on Friday evening, which will follow a first round matchup between Wake Forest and Kentucky.
