The West Virginia Mountaineers added a lot of impressive pieces to their rotation this offseason, both through the transfer portal and through their freshman class – but perhaps none were bigger than Miles Sadler.
Sadler was already a flashy acquisition when he signed with the Mountaineers ahead of his senior season of prep basketball, and was the highest-rated prospect to ever sign with the program. But he continued to impress during his senior season, leading Bella Vista Prep to the Nike EYBL Scholastic League championship and the Chipotle Nationals championship and earning EYBL Scholastic League Player of the Year honors.
And the buzz around Sadler isn't slowing down. Earlier this week, he was listed as a potential first-round NBA Draft pick in projections for the 2027 draft, sitting at No. 30 on one draft board. And now, he will head off to compete this week at a prestigious invitation-only event.
Miles Sadler set for action at CP3 Elite Guard Camp
The Mountaineers announced on Tuesday that Sadler is set to compete at the CP3 Elite Guard Camp this week. The event, ran by retired NBA star point guard Chris Paul, is invitation-only, and routinely welcomes the top high school and college guards nationally.

The event gives the players a chance to compete against other top-tier guard talent, and to also receive instruction from the top collegiate and professional coaches in the world. The fact that Sadler was invited is a demonstration of just how talented Sadler is compared to his peers.
And now, the camp will offer him the opportunity to raise his profile even higher and prove that he is among the top point guards that will play at the colleigate level this season. He will also receive priceless advice and coaching at the event, which will only serve to help further develop his game ahead of his freshman year in Morgantown.
