The New York Knicks are once again heading back to the Eastern Conference Finals, and the victory that secured the series victory in the semifinals against the 76ers came on Sunday in large part due to the efforts of Miles McBride.

McBride had not made a ton of noise during the first three games of the series, although he put in some stellar performances in the team's previous series against the Hawks. But as the Knicks ran away with a 144-114 win against 76ers to secure their semifinal win on Sunday, McBride was the most dominant player on the court.

McBride exploded offensively on Sunday, leading all scorers for the Knicks with 25 points. He also set a career-best mark for made three-pointers in a single game, going 7-of-9 from behind the arc. Overall, he shot 70% from the field and recorded a +/- of +33 in 29 minutes on the floor.

His performance was the linchpin for the team's 30-point victory which secured their spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. His 25-point output also is tied for his best scoring performance this season, matching efforts on November 17 against Miami, and on January 15 against Golden State. It's also the most points he's scored since returning from an injury that kept him out for nearly the final two months of the regular season.

McBride has spent his entire career with the Knicks since being selected as a second round 2021 NBA Draft pick. In college, he spent two seasons with the West Virginia Mountaineers, where he averaged 15.9 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game as a senior on the way to being named a second-team All-Big 12 selection.
