The WNBA preseason is underway, and with it, a former West Virginia star has made her professional debut. And during the contest, she saw significant action for her team.

Jordan Harrison, who spent the last three years with the Mountaineers after following head coach Mark Kellogg from Stephen A. Austin once he took over the program in Morgantown, was overlooked in the WNBA Draft despite being considered a potential pick by some draft analysts.

But she later landed a deal with the Portland Fire, an expansion team in their first season. And on Wednesday night, the Fire – and Harrison – began their WNBA journey.
