How to Watch: Iowa State at West Virginia, Week 7

West Virginia football finally lived up to their 2024 preseason hype, absolutely dominating conference rival Oklahoma State this past weekend from whistle-to-whistle. Now the Mountaineers are 2-0 in conference play and control their own destiny in terms of winning their first ever Big 12 Championship and making a College Football Playoff run -- but there is a tall, undefeated task lying ahead.
The Mountaineers are scheduled to clash with No. 11 Iowa State in a matchup between two of just five remaining Big 12 teams undefeated in league play. In a game many fans had written off as a likely loss a few weeks prior, the Cyclones are now just three point favorites headed into the matchup. A win could change the narrative of the entire season for WVU and put them in the driver's seat of the conference.
The matchup also marks the debut of the "Coal Rush" theme for WVU, with fans encouraged to wear black as the team dons new black-and-white coal themed uniforms for the first time this season. There will also be a special drone show during the halftime festivities.

The matchup with Iowa State will be the fourth of seven contests this season for WVU. The action is set for Saturday, October 12th, at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, with kickoff slated for 8 PM EST.
