West Virginia basketball didn't accomplish all their goals last season, but a 21-14 finish with a College Basketball Crown championship vicotry is still a pretty great way to cap off Ross Hodge's first season in charge of the Mountaineers. And one key piece on that recipe for success was senior guard Honor Huff.
Huff started all 35 games for the Mountaineers this past season, averaging 16.5 points per game and setting the single-season record for most made three-pointers with 120 – and ranking 25th all-time in all of college basketball for career made three-pointers. WVU basketball guard Honor Huff offers inspiring message upon declaring for the NBA Draft
Huff made a post on social media on Thursday announcing his decision to declare for the NBA Draft, penning a heartfelt message to his supporters along each stop in his basketball journey that made clear he has big plans for the future.

"At my size, there are limitations placed on what is deemed achievable," Huff wrote. "Here's to defying more odds."
Huff certainly boosted his NBA Draft stock with his performance in the College Basketball Crown, scoring 38 points in the championship game to lift the Mountaineers over the Oklahoma Sooners to bring some hardware back to Morgantown. Over the three-game stretch of tournament play, Huff scored 72 points and tallied 11 assists, and for his efforts he was awarded the College Basketball Crown Most Valuable Player award.
