So it came as a huge shock on Saturday morning when College GameDay picked their winners and losers for Saturday's slate of games, and every single analyst – and guest picker Johnny Knoxville – threw their weight behind West Virginia as the predicted winner in theirWeek 4 showdown with Oklahoma State. Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit join the West Virginia hype train alongside Pat McAfee on College GameDay
Nick Sabanhad already revealedthat he's be picking the Mountaineers on The Pat McAfee Show earlier this week, and McAfee is known for supporting the Mountaineers even when they're not looking strong.
Desmond Howard added that he "likes what Rich Rod is doing down there in Morgantown" before throwing his weight behind the Mountaineers, while Kirk Herbstreit told McAfee that "I think your ball club is for real."
Last week, McAfee was the only member of the crew to pick the Mountaineers to win against the then-No. 25 Virginia Cavaliers, but West Virginia marched into a neutral-site showdown with the Cavaliers and won by double-digits. Now, it seems that performance left a huge impact on the College GameDay crew.
McAfee alsopicked West Virginiaas the under-the-radar, defeated team he's "all-in" on , and Saban said that he's on McAfee's side as he predicted West Virginia could be the Big 12's dark horse contender.
