The West Virginia Mountaineers are continuing to work towards putting together their 2026 roster via more transfer portal additions, and have two more visits lined up.

On Sunday, the news broke that Wyoming offensive lineman Wes King was visiting the Texas Longhorns, but that he also had upcoming visits lined up with both WVU and Kansas State. King is a 6-foot-5, 315-pounder who will be entering his fifth and final season of eligibility.

King has started all three seasons he was with the Cowboys, tallying 33 starts for the program and logging 1,750 snaps. He has also yet to allow a sack over the course of his college career. Coming out of high school, he was a three-star prospect in the Class of 2022.

The Mountaineers also have a new defensive target lined up for a visit, as Texas State safety Javis Mynatt is set to visit the Mountaineers on Monday, according to reports. Mynatt is a 6-foot, 195-pounder who will be entering his final season of eligibility.

Mynatt finished this past season with 32 tackles for the Bobcats, and has 87 total tackles over his collegiate career. Before his time at Texas State, Mynatt played at Wofford – where he was a critical piece of the defense led by current WVU defensive assistant and then-Wofford co-defensive coordinator Andrew Warwick.

The Mountaineers will be looking to replace plenty of players in the portal this month as they have seen well over 40 players from last year's team hit the transfer portal, with several more seeing their eligibility coming to an end.
