Cooke paced Houston in total scoring in nine different contests and scored a career-high 25 points against a Top 10 TCU program in February. She also shot 32% frm three-point range and converted 31 three-point buckets on the season.
Cooke began her career in her home state at Maryland, where she saw action in 25 games as a true freshman. The Upper Marlboro native was a four-star recruit out of high school, signing with the Terrapins out of Bishop McNamara High School.
Cooke is the second transfer commitment for the Mountaineers this offseason to make the jump from a conference foe -- the first to do so was Loghan Johnson, who joined the Mountaineers after starting her career at Texas Tech.
Cooke is the fifth transfer addition overall for WVU women's basketball this season. She and Johnson will be joined by Carter McCray (Northern Kentucky, Wisconsin), Riley Makalusky (Butler), and Kierra Wheeler (Norfolk State) as newcomers to the West Virginia women's basketball roster this season.
