The West Virginia Mountaineers are walking away from the weekend with a huge win in their back pocket for the men's basketball team. New head coach Ross Hodge has worked magic so far in the transfer portal, and yet another win was sent to Morgantown on Sunday, April 20.
Treysen Eaglestaff, a four-star transfer from North Dakota, committed to the Mountaineers after initially committing to transfer to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Last season, Eaglestaff earned a resounding 18.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists as he dominated on the offensive end of the court. At 6-foot-6, the guard is a dynamic player and can run up and down the court with ease.
Eaglestaff, a North Dakota native, committed to West Virginia over the BYU Cougars, Gonzaga Bulldogs, and Washington Huskies.
