The West Virginia Mountaineers are headed to the NCAA Super Regionals, and now, they know their schedule for the weekend.

The Mountaineers knocked off Kentucky on Monday night after fighting back from the loser's bracket of the Morgantown Regional, and with No. 1 overall seed UCLA falling in the Los Angeles Regional, the Mountaineers will get the opportunity to host Super Regional action in Morgantown for the first time in program history.

West Virginia will host the champion of the Los Angeles Regional, Cal Poly, in the first-ever Morgantown Super Regional. The Mustangs enter 39-22, and were the No. 3 seed in their region.

The action at Kendrick Family Ballpark for will begin at Noon EST on Friday, June 5 with Game 1, and then Game 2 will commence at Noon EST on Friday, June 6. Both games will be televised nationally on ESPN 2. If a Game 3 is needed, it will be played on Sunday, June 7, though no time or date has been announced yet.

The Mountaineers will be appearing in their third consecutive Super Regional, having lost to North Carolina in the Chapel Hill Super Regional in 2024 and eventual national champions LSU in the Baton Rouge Super Regional in 2025. However, they have never advanced to the College World Series in their program history, and will now have a prime opportunity to do so.

If the Mountaineers want to make it to Omaha, they must win two games this weekend, which would make even more program history – that would mark the 45th victory of the year for West Virginia, breaking the program single season win record of 44 wins set by last year's team.
