Just 48 hours ago, things did not look good for the West Virginia Mountaineers. Their starting pitcher left the second game of the Morgantown Regional with an injury, the Mountaineers lost to Kentucky and dropped to the loser's bracket, and needed to pull off three consecutive wins to make it back to a third straight Super Regional.

Then, chaos ensured. The Mountaineers demonstrated quite well that they don't understand what 'quit' means, battling back to pull off two wins on Sunday, with the day capped by a five-run rally in the ninth inning to take the lead after tailing by three runs.

But the real kicker came on Monday night, when the Mountaineers faced off with the Wildcats the third tme this weekend in a rubber match to determine who would move on and whose season would end. And the Mountaineers delivered for their raucous home crowd, winning via a walk-off home run in extra innings after a late Kentucky rally tied the game in the eighth inning. Suddenly, all seemed right again, as the stadium sang "Country Roads" in celebration.

It was the second straight barnburner between the two teams in consecutive days, with an utterly thrilling finish. And for West Virginia fans, it was as sweet a moment as the team has had in their program history – as the Mountaineers will now host a Super Regional for the first time ever.

After the game ended, West Virginia fans as well as college baseball personalities at large took to the internet to react. Check out some of the best reactions below, and let us know how you're feeling after the win!
