Beanie Bishop transferred from Minnesota to WVU in May 2023. Bishop chose to transfer to WVU for one ultimate goal -- he wanted to play at the next level.

In Bishop’s one season with the Mountaineers in 2023, he was named as a NCAA Consensus All-American. The senior defensive back led the country in pass breakups and pass deflections in his lone season with the Mountaineers.

In addition to being an All-American, Bishop was named First Team All-Big 12 in his one year with the WVU program.

Bishop, a Louisville, Kentucky native, was a great undrafted free agent signing by the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his rookie season with the Steelers, Bishop already made his presence known in the Steel City.
