2. David Sills V

As a young player, David Sills IV was recruited to one of the top programs in the country, the University of Southern California. Sills was recruited to be a quarterback at USC.
Instead, he decided to come back to WVU after transferring to El Camino College in 2016 to pursue his dream of becoming a quarterback, Sills returned in 2017 and became one of the most successful wide receivers in recent history. Outside of the greats like Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, and yes, even Kevin White, Sills put up one of the better wide receiver stat lines in recent history for WVU.
Sills did not have much of an impact his freshman year. Sills only was able to haul in seven receptions for 136 yards with two touchdowns. However, when Sills returned to WVU in 2017, in his junior year, Sills was a huge contributor. Posting 60 receptions for 980 yards and 18 touchdowns, the Wilmington, Delaware native had one of the better seasons at wide receiver in college football that year. Sills ranked second in touchdowns for all of college football while ranking in the top 40 for receiving yards.
The Wilmington, Delaware native continued his success in 2018, posting very similar numbers. In his senior season, Sills posted 65 receptions for 986 yards with 15 touchdowns. Sills’ 15 touchdowns put in second for most touchdowns that season behind Hawaii’s John Ursua.
Sills was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Buffalo Bills in 2019.
