WVU football has been working hard on flipping a massive offensive line prospect in the Class of 2026 from a regional rival – and it appears they might be making some good progress in their attempt.

Kevin Brown is a four-star prospect, and is listed as the second-best overall player in Pennsylvania and the sixth-best offensive tackle in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Last weekend, Brown teased a potential flip to WVU as he donned a set of gloves with the Flying WV logo prominently featured in his game for Harrisonburg (PA). Now, Brown is continuing to tease a flip, as he just posted a photo on his personal Instagram account prominently displaying the same gloves, accompanied by a Bible verse that some WVU fans are taking as a cryptic message regarding his college plans.

Brown is currently committed to Penn State as of the writing of this article, but he re-opened his recruitment following the team's firing of head coach James Franklin earlier this season. He recently visited WVU, but also paid visit to Ohio State, which currently seem to be his top two schools.

But the Buckeyes signed another offensive line prospect right after Brown's visit, while there will be a gaping hole that needs filled a right tackle for the Mountaineers next season. Brown also is a legacy prospect for the Mountaineers, as his father Tim Brown is a program alum. The elder Brown played for the man currently at the helm of the WVU program, Rich Rodriguez, during the coach's first stint in Morgantown. He eventually also spent time in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
