West Virginia fanbase reacts to Penn State loss

The dust has barely settled on West Virginia football's season opening loss to No. 8 Penn State, but the reactions from college football and WVU fans are already pouring in.

The reactions are varying wildly from fan to fan. Some aren't too concerned, as Penn State did enter the matchup as a Top 10 team. Others felt as if WVU has shown little growth, perhaps even regressed, from their 2023 season.

Some fans are in despair over the loss, especially with the hype around the program. Some are panicking over the WVU performance while others are pointing out how good Penn State looks this season, and consider the loss less of a big deal than others.
