You could tell West Virginia football head coach Neal Brown was in a foul mood on Saturday afternoon.

Following his team's 34-12 loss at the hands of No. 8 Penn State on Saturday, Brown stood in front of the press to discuss the game, and he certainly didn't mince words when speaking about his opinion on the WVU performance.

"We played bad football," Brown said. "To say I’m disappointed in how we played would be an understatement. We played poorly."

The Mountaineers certainly didn't live up to the hype coming out of the program during camp, nor the expectations of the fans following a nine-win season. To witness Brown's visible distaste for his team's performance is interesting, as he made no secret about his expectations coming into the matchup. It appears that it might be a rough start to Week 2 in the WVU locker room.
