Never doubt how much Pat McAfee loves West Virginia sports.

McAfee starred for the Mountaineers on the gridiron as a kicker/punter from 2005-2008, playing during current head coach Rich Rodriguez's first stint with the Mountaineers (and one season under former Rodriguez assistant Bill Stewart).

And on Friday, as West Virginia baseball hosted an NCAA Super Regional for the first time in program history,McAfee was front-and-center in the home crowd, seated next to his former coach – even pictured at one point drinking a beer with his former coachwhile celebratinga West Virginia grand slam.
