The West Virginia Mountaineers have mostly finished their offseason roster rebuild, and the future looks bright for coach Ross Hodge as he walks away with his program among the biggest winners in the sport this offseason.

The Mountaineers have addressed one of their biggest weaknesses while fully tranforming the makeup of their roster in multiple facets, and one of the keys to that has been their work putting together what ESPN has currently ranked as a Top 15 2026 prep recruiting class.

Now, Rivals has updated their basketball recruiting rankings following the conclusion of the prep season, and it's all good news for the Mountaineers as the two stars of their recruiting class have seen their stocks boosted even further.

Rivals holds incoming WVU basketball freshmen in high regard

The linchpin of the class is point guard Miles Sadler, who seems to be considered most unanimously by recruiting services as a Top 20 prospect in the country.

He did not get the coveted fifth star he was hoping for from On3, though he has been ranked a five-star by other services, but he did jump seven spots from No. 25 to No. 18 overall, and jumped one spot in his positional rankings to be listed as the No. 3 point guard in the class.

Amadou Seini, who was previously unranked, earned some significant flowers from the recruiting service, making his debut in the Rivals150 as a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 40 overall player in the country.

These new ranking updates are just further proof that Hodge has solidified an elite prep recruiting class entering next season, and fans will be looking forward to seeing the impact both Sadler and Seini have in the lineup next season.
