Ross Hodge is hitting as stride as a recruiter as he settles into offseason following his first season at the helm of the West Virginia basketball program, and in doing so, he is assembling an elite roster for the Mountaineers next season.

Recently, WVU added commitments from guard Keonte Greybear and center Amadou Seini, bringing the team's incoming freshman class up to five players. Now, the latest updates to ESPN's recruiting rankings have been released, and the massive impact WVU's additions have made is even more apparent – as West Virginia is now sitting on one of the top recruiting lasses in the country.

Amadou Seini, Miles Sadler leap upward in newest ESPN recruiting rankings update

In the newest recruiting rankings, Seini – who was previously a relatively unknown prospect – was rated by ESPN for the first-time, and immediately found himself pegged as a four-star prospect and the 74th-best player in the Class of 2026.

Meanwhile, Miles Sadler, who was previously ranked as a five-star prospect by other recruiting services but not ESPN, was given a fifth-star by the service and boosted to No. 16 overall in the class. Keonte Greybear and Aliou Dioum were already listed as four-star prospects in the class, with Greybear currently listed as the 24th-best point guard in the class and Dioum listed as the 10th-best center in the class.

Overall, this boosted WVU's class to No. 15 overall in ESPN's team recruiting rankings for the Class of 2026, putting them among the top programs in the nation. They ranked fifth among the 16 teams in the Big 12, sitting behind Kansas, Oklahoma State, BYU. and Arizona.
