With the NBA Draft upcoming, a group of 75 prospects are currently spending their week in Chicago attempting to impress scouts at the annual NBA Draft Combine.

One of those 75 athletes is a former West Virginia Mountaineer -- Javon Small, who shared the Big 12 scoring title in 2024-2025 for WVU, is gunning to make a big impression as a potential "sleeper pick" ahead of the NBA Draft scheduled for June 26th-27th.

Small was a first-team All Big 12 selection and was named to multiple All-American lists after last season, but has not yet risen to the status of a sure-fire draft pick. But he has already made an impact with scouts -- he has been projected as a late second-round pick in a mock draft posted following Monday's NBA Draft Lottery.

He has also already begun to impress scouts in attendance at the combine, with an absolutely stunning three-point shooting performance on Monday.

But Javon Small's week is far from over -- he still has more activities to participate in at the Combine, including an opportunity to impress in 5-on-5 scrimmages meant to simulate in-game action. It presents a major opportunity for Small to show that he can compete on the hardwood during in-game action with the some of best draft prospects.

For those looking to catch a glimpse of Small at the Combine, you are in luck -- footage from the various combine activities will be airing on ESPN2, ESPN+, and Disney+ starting at 2 P.M. EST on Wednesday, May 14th. Stay tuned for more updates on Small's performance.
