Starring for two seasons at West Virginia, former Mountaineer guard Miles "Deuce" McBride became a fan favorite amongst those who support the old-gold-and-blue, helping carry WVU to an NCAA Tounrament in his final season with the program.

Since leaving school early to take his talents to the professional level, he's been making noise while playing at the highest levels of the sport in the NBA. Earlier this season in February, McBride put up a season-high scoring performance with 23 points. But since then, he's been on a further streak that might have him showcasing his best play since getting drafted into the league back in 2021.

McBride has played 30-or-more minutes with the New York Knicks in their last four games, and is currently on a three-game streak of scoring in double-digits. The impressive run began on March 7th as McBride saw 34 minutes of action in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers -- he only managed to net seven points, but also chipped in six assists.

In a win over Sacramento the next week, McBride saw 32 minutes of action and snapped on the offensive end of the floor, racking up 21 points and seven assists for the Knicks, He rode the momentum into the team's next game, and dropped 11 points, five assists, and four steals in 38 minutes as the Knicks knocked off Portland for their second consecutive win.

Finally, McBride continued his strong play on Saturday as the Knicks were felled by Golden State -- he would score 19 points, bring down five rebounds, and tally four assists in the loss.

McBride is in the midst of some of his best play yet at the professional level and is showing no signs of slowing down -- he is averaging 9.6 points per game in 24.6 minutes of action each outing. The Knicks are currently 42-24 overall on the season and are sitting a distant third in the Eastern Conference standings behind powerhouses Cleveland and Boston.
