The West Virginia Mountaineers seem to have landed a winner in a recent Class of 2026 commit.

McMinn County (Tenn.) offensive lineman Camden Goforth, who recently flipped his allegiance from Coastal Carolina to West Virginia, has some nasty highlight footage that shows why he'll be a perfect fit for coach Rich Rodriguez's "hard edge" mentality.

“I promise to bring physicality and intensity,” Goforth told Rivals after his commitment.

But now, Goforth has dropped some footage of some of his work in the weight room that really drives home why Rich Rodriguez and his staff -- as well as WVU football fans -- should be excited about his decision to join the Mountaineers.

Goforth posted a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, of him completing what he labelled the "Big Man Challenge." This seems to involve repping out on bench press at 185 pounds (similar to the 225-pound bench rep test for college and pro athletes), and the results were impressive. Goforth pumped out 33 repetitions on the bench press at 185.

This follows a video he shared earlier this spring where he broke his school's record on the squat rack, cranking out three reps at a whopping 640 pounds -- which he assured viewers in "nowhere near" his max weight.

That type of strength is certainly one reason why Rodriguez and offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr. will be excited to get Goforth on campus and inside the program. Another reason happens to be the fact that they see him as a versatile player that can be slotted at various positions across the interior of the offensive line.

"They want me to be able to snap so I could play any of the three interior positions,” he said.
