WVU basketball's legendary WVU Coliseum has now become the Hope Coliseum – and with that will be coming some changes.
Or perhaps it's more accurate to say that there have already been some changes made, as the media got it's first look inside the Coliseum this season and picture shows that the floor and the scoreboard in the arena have already seen some work done to reflect the change in the name.
As initially reported when the news broke, the baselines underneath the hoops have been repainted with the new name and new arena logo, and now there are some higher-quality pictures reflecting how the new paint job looks with the rest of the Coliseum in view.
The virtual scoreboard that hangs from the rafters as a centerpiece in the center of the arena also had brand new designs reflecting the arena's new name and logo that were fully on display when the media got a look at the court, which will likely be used as the main displays for the scoreboard during events at the Coliseum going forward.

The new sponsorship deal, which was announced yesterday, will pay the University $2 million per year over the course of the next ten years, and Athletic Director Wren Baker delved into more details about where that money is going and exactly how it's helping keep the school's athletic programs competitive moving forward. The name change itself caused a stir among the WVU fanbase, but it's hard to deny the work on the rebranding inside the arena looks good so far.
