Series History

The West Virginia Mountaineers and Coastal Carolina Chanticleers have met just one time, with the Mountaineers winning that meeting 31-0 during the 2010 season. At that time, Coastal was an FCS program. They moved to the FBS in 2017.

Pat White Number Retirement Ceremony

Current West Virginia assistant coach and legendary former starting quarterback Pat White will become the seventh player in program history to have his number retired this weekend. Fans are encouraged to wear white in a 'White Out' theme, and the retirement ceremony will begin at 11:45 A.M., so fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 11:30 A.M.
