Travin Howard

Before the season started, Travin Howard was named one of the top defensive players in the Big 12, right here by HailWV.com. That prediction proved to be the right call because Howard is proving he is one of the best linebackers in the conference.

This season, Howard leads the Horned Frogs with 26 total tackles. He has added 3.5 tackles for a loss that have cost opponents nine yards and he has one interception.

Howard lead a defensive unit that only allows 18.5 points per game and less than 100 rushing yards per game.
