It’s the moment residents of the Mountain State have been waiting for. Football is back in Morgantown.
The WVU football team sits with a record of 0-1, but with the home opener on the forefront, there is a chance for the Mountaineers to get back on track and have a successful season. With the East Carolina Pirates on the horizon, the WVU football team should be 1-1 by the end of the weekend.
Also on the horizon is a beautiful day for football. According to weather.com, the kickoff forecast is partly cloudy skies with a temperature of 62 degrees. The tailgaters who will be traveling and arriving in Morgantown early in the morning will need an extra layer of clothes or a heavier jacket because the temperature will be in the 50s.
It’s a sneak peek of what is to come. Football weather will soon be arriving. It will be here to stay come mid-September. A comfortable day like Saturday will offer is something everybody should take advantage of.
For those who unfortunately can’t make it to Morgantown and won’t be sitting in Milan Puskar Stadium, there are many ways to watch and listen to the WVU football game against East Carolina. The following is media information provided by WVUsports.com.

East Carolina isn’t Virginia Tech, so this won’t be hyped up like last week’s match up. Still, it’s time for football and the Mountaineers are back in full swing. This still could be a great season and it continues this Saturday.
