Today is likely a mixed bag of emotions for WVU head coach Neal Brown.

Recently, fans at WVU have not been easy on Brown during his five-and-a-half year tenure, as they feel his 35-33 overall record has not met expectations -- this culminated Monday morning as multiple 'Fire Neal Brown' billboards were launched across this city of Morgantown.

However, after back-to-back home losses against ranked opponents brought a lot of that heat down, Brown must have felt vindicated in his coaching abilities as his team bounced back with a 31-26 road win against Arizona over the weekend to move to 4-4 on the season and set up a potential late-season run to finish the fall in a respectable fashion.

On Monday, though, Brown likely got an additional boost to his mood despite the new billboards making an appearance during his commute to work, as national outlet CBS Sports also vouched for his coaching skills.

The outlet released their Week 9 Head Coaches of the Week honors for each conference, and Brown earned himself the award for the Big 12 -- and regardless of your thoughts on Brown, leading WVU to a road win on a cross-country trek after back-to-back losses while missing a starting quarterback and future NFL offensive tackle from the lineup is a bit impressive.
