WVU football needs a win in a bad way.

The Mountaineers have lost four consecutive games, and can only afford one more loss if they want to go bowling for the third straight season. This weekend, they'll face off against Big 12 rival TCU in the second annual Coal Rush game. For those hoping to catch the game between the Mountaineers and Horned Frogs, here's all the information you’ll need.

The Basics: When And Where

The matchup with TCU is the fourth home game on the 2025 slate for the Mountaineers, and the second in conference play – West Virginia has gone 2-1 at home this year, with wins against Robert Morris and Pittsburgh and a loss to Utah. The game is set for Saturday, October 25 at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, with the game set to kick off at 6:00 PM EST.

TV, Streaming, and Radio

The Mountaineers' game will not be available on traditional television this week, but can be streamed live on ESPN+ for those with a valid subscription. Commentary for the stream will be tackled by Pete Sousa on play-by-play with Craig Haubert serving as the analyst.

A radio broadcast will also be available as usual via all local Mountaineer Sports Network affiliates or The Varsity Network via web browser or smartphone app. This week's coverage will start at 3:00 PM EST, getting underway with the GoMart Mountaineer Tailgate Show before switching over to pre-game coverage for WVU-TCU at 5:00 PM EST. The legendary Tony Caridi will tackle play-by-play commentary for the contest with Dwight Wallace as an analyst and Jed Drenning handling sideline reporting.
