The injury news is not getting any better for WVU football.

Another player availability report for the upcoming WVU-BYU showdown on Friday night was released on Wednesday evening, and a trio of players who have previously seen action for the Mountaineers are set to miss the clash with the Cougars in Provo.

Quarterback Jaylen Henderson, who served as the second-strong option for much of the year for WVU and started for the Mountaineers against Utah, is officially listed as out for Friday's contest. Henderson was previously described by head coach Rich Rodriguez as "a little banged up" and "limited" earlier this week. This comes after Henderson was benched at halftime of the Utah game in favor of redshirt freshman Khalil Wilkins. Henderson is 7-of-18 passing for 50 yards on the season, and has 146 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.

Another reserve quarterback, Max Brown, is listed as questionable for the BYU game, leaving the impression that Wilkins and true freshman Scotty Fox Jr. are the two frontrunners to start this week.

Wide receiver Oran Singleton Jr. and defensive lineman Devin Grant are also new players listed as out for the game on the latest availability report. Singleton is yet to start this season and has recorded just four receptions for 22 yards and four carries for 34 yards this season. Grant, meanwhile, started the first two games and has been a constant piece of the defensive rotation through the additional three games he didn't start, and has recorded 11 tackles on the season.
