They say the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results. So it's possible WVU basketball fans are feeling a bit insane after watching the Mountaineers lose a third consecutive game after the repeated issue of early struggles reared it's ugly head yet once again for the Mountaineers.

Of course, maybe the fans aren't expecting different results anymore. It's hard to tell sometimes. As the showdown in Stillwater came to a close on Tuesday night, it seemed as if some WVU fans expected the loss all along, or at least were resigned to the fact it was a possibility. Others are beginning to show concerns over the lack of improvement they've seen in the Mountaineers over the course of the season.

And it's hard to really blame anyone, here. It's becoming increasingly frustrating to watch the same issues continue to plague the Mountaineers time and time again throughout the season, and watching West Virginia continue to hang onto the fringe of the NCAA Tournament bubble discussion only to throw away winnable opportunities night in and night out can be a hard pill to swallow.

But perhaps this is just who this team is, and maybe head coach Ross Hodge is making more happen with less in his first season at the helm of the program, and the College Basketball Crown or NIT should have always been the expected end-of-season destination anyway. Regardless, it doesn't seem to have fans any less disappointed with the issues the Mountaineers are facing.

Check out some of the reactions to the loss below, and let us know how you're feeling after Tuesday's game.
