West Virginia men's basketball starting forward Tucker DeVries is out indefinitely withn an upper body injury, according to WVU Head Coach Darian DeVries.
"After consulting with our team doctors and other medical professionals, they have ruled Tucker out indefinitely as he deals with an upper body injury," Coach DeVries said on Tuesday. "We have a great bunch of guys in the locker room who I know will rally around him during his absence."

DeVries is averaging 14.9 points through eight games this season.

The younger DeVries followed his father to WVU from Drake for his senior season -- we was a top transfer portal prospect and two-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year who is now averaging 14.9 points and 4.9 rebounds through eight appearances this season. DeVries has started all eight WVU contests this season, and joins Jayden Stone on the list of injured Mountaineers.
