West Virginia golf didn't manage as strong as a finish to their 2024-2025 season as they would have hoped, but a pair of Mountaineer golfers have been rewarded with All-Region honors for their performances this past season.

The Golf Coaches Association of America released their Divsion 1 PING All-Midwest Region Team earlier this week, and WVU senior Todd Duncan and junior Kaleb Wilson found themselves named on the list. The pair becomes the fourth and fifth golfers in program history to be named to the All-Region team, and this season marks the first that the Mountaineers featured two players on the team.

Duncan is a Daniels, W.Va-native and a Shady Spring High School alum, appeared in every lineup for the Mountaineers throughout regular season play in 2024-2025, and played 30 rounds while averaging a score of 72.23. He tied for the best individual finish in program history at the Big 12 Championship, ending the tournament in 11th-place overall.

Wilson was named the Most Improved Golfer within the program after his sophomore season, and was able to live up to that hype this past year. Wilson also remained in the starting lineup for West Virginia all season, capturing his first collegiate win at the Nemacolin Invitational with a seven-under-par performance and becoming the second golfer in program history to qualify as a individual for the NCAA Regional Championships.

Wilson finished his season at the NCAA Regional with a three-round total of 11-over-par and a 55th-place overall individual finish. The Mountaineers finished their season as a program with a fifth-place finish at the National Golf Invitational in Arizona. Duncan and Wilson, as well as other current nd former Mountaineers, will compete this coming week in US Open qualifiers.
