West Virginia added some more depth along the defensive line on Thursday as edge rusher Keenan Eck announced he has committed to the Mountaineers. Eck will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Eck joins the Mountaineers after a stint at JUCO program Citrus College, where he recorded 26 tackles (10.5 TFL), 6 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery in 9 appearances during the 2024 season. Before his time at Citrus, he began his collegiate career at Division 2 program Black Hills State -- as a true freshman, Eck played in all 11 games for the Yellow Jackets and tallied 13 tackles (8.5 TFL), 8.5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles.
As a high school senior at Apple Valley High School in California, Eck also tallied 61 tackles and an astounding 20 sacks over a 15-game season.
