Now-former Jacksonville State defensive line coach William Green is set to follow Rich Rodriguez to Morgantown, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
Green was an assistant with Rodriguez during his entire tenure at Jacksonville State -- the Gamecocks ranked third in Conference USA in sacks last season, and fourth in scoring defense. Green previously coached with Rodriguez at Louisiana-Monroe. Before linking up with Rodriguez on staff with the Warhawks, he had served a previous stint at Jacksonville State as well as one at Florida.
Green played collegiately in the SEC, spending a four-year stint with the Florida Gators. He was a member of the program from 2008-11, capturing a national championship his freshman season and seeing action in 53 career games. He recorded 44 career tackles and 2.5 career sacks.
