West Virginia football flips massive SEC offensive lineman transfer commit from Big 10 program

West Virginia football landed a huge addition to a depleted offensive line on Monday as they earned earned a commitment from Ty'Kieast Crawford out of the transfer portal. Crawford, who has one season of eligibility remaining, spent his last four seasons at Arkansas after beginning his collegiate career at Charlotte.



Crawford originally committed to UCLA out of the portal last Monday, but for yet unknown reasons decided to flip his commitment to the Mountaineers today. The veteran offensive tackle appeared in 23 games and made 6 starts over the past four seasons at Arkansas -- during his true freshman season at Charlotte, he made 6 appearances and earned 3 starts. He was a consensus four-star prospect out of high school and was ranked amongst the Top 20 offensive tackles in his recruiting class by 247Sports.
