West Virginia football announces official signing of winter transfer class

On Thursday afternoon, West Virginia football announced the official signing of most of their expected winter transfer class, along with each player's official position on the roster. They will join a set of Class of 2025 early enrollees and those returning from last season’s roster as the first WVU group to train under incoming head coach Rich Rodriguez during his second-stint with the program.

As of this story being published, 29-of-31 players from the transfer portal who have signaled their commitment to the Mountaineers have been announced as officially signed with the program -- edge rusher Keenan Eck from JUCO program Citrus College and offensive lineman William Reed from FCS Ivy League program Princeton, 2-of-the-3 most recent commitments from the portal, were yet to be officially announced.
