Fourth-seed No. 16 West Virginia women's basketball is in the fight of their lives against first-seed No. 8 TCU in the Big 12 Conference Tournament.

The Mountaineers are battling to earn themselves a shot at a Big 12 Championship and potentially host a round of opening weekend matchups in the NCAA Tournament.

They have to make it through a TCU team that handled them with ease in February during the regular season to get there, however, and the Mountaineers were attempting to rally from an early deficit to keep the game close late in the third period of play.

That's when Jordan Harrison came into play.

Harrison and her fellow backcourt star JJ Quinerly have recently earned the moniker 'Splash Sisters' for their ability to efficiently score the ball for the Mountaineers -- they combined for 43 points in a Big 12 Tournament quarterfinal win over Kansas State.

Harrison had been relatively quiet early against the Horned Frogs, but woke up in the third quarter -- she converted her first three-pointer of the period from a relatively normal range, but she proceeded to close the quarter with a buzzer-beater that could have been mistaken for a clip from a Caitlin Clark or Jimmer Fredette highlight reel.

Harrison pulled out the shot from just across the half-court line as time expired in the third -- she pulled up with a jump stop and heaved the ball toward the distant bucket with an impressive semblance of form, and watched excitedly as it crashed through the net to bring a once 15-point deficit within five points for the Mountaineers.
