It was officially announced this morning that ESPN and TNT have reached a new deal to move TNT's 'Inside the NBA' show to ESPN and ABC starting with the 2025-2026 season -- and the partnership will have a significant effect on where some of the Big 12's football and men's basketball slate is broadcast starting next season.

As a part of the deal, 13 football and 15 men's basketball games in the Big 12 will move from ESPN+ to TNT starting in 2025. It expands on a previous sublicense with ESPN that will allow TNT to broadcast two College Football Playoff games starting this fall.

This will come as welcome news to Big 12 fans who have voiced complaints in recent years about how many conference games are solely broadcast on ESPN+, which requires it's own subscription to watch.
