While West Virginia football is still well alive for a trip to a number of college football bowl games, that isn’t the only postseason collegiate football that will be played this winter.
Each year, there are a select number of All-Star games that serve to honor the top seniors across all levels of collegiate football and provide opportunities for those players to make a final impression on professional scouts. And if you pay close attention to this season’s all-star slate, you’ll catch a few members of the Mountaineers roster suited up.
There are three main bowls to look for WVU players in -- the Hula Bowl, the Senior Bowl, and the East-West Shrine Bowl. So far, seven WVU players have accepted invitations to one of the three contests.
