There is no time in college sports quite like March.

That's because each spring, as the flowers begin to bloom and the temperature begins to rise, the brackets are finalized and play opens in both the men's and women's NCAA Basketball Tournament, which has colloquially become known as March Madness in pop culture.

It's a time of year where basketball fans call off work to have a four-screen setup to follow the action, and those stuck at work are often glued to their computers or phones for every score update they can get. Millions of people across the globe often fill out brackets to compete to see who is quite the best at predicting each game (and the eventual champion), and small programs you've never before heard of win the hearts of basketball fans everywhere as they embark on Cinderella runs.

But to get there, the brackets do have to be determined first, and we will all learn who has made it to The Big Dance and who narrowly missed out by the end of this weekend. Selection Sunday, as the day the brackets are released has become popularly known, will take place for both the men's tournament and the women's tournament is set for Sunday, March 16th.

The tournament committee members will select 37 at-large teams and seed them inside a bracket with 31 conference champions who earn an automatic spot. For those looking to see where their favorite team lands, the information needed to follow along with the bracket release is below.
